Note resort	NOTE: This was my eighth time in the Maldives, and this year we ended up staying at the resort for almost two weeks due to the situation caused by the war in Iran. Overall, this is an excellent resort with a very good value for money. At the moment, it is probably the best price–quality ratio we have experienced in the Maldives. Resort The island is medium-sized, but it has everything you need for a fantastic stay: tennis court, spa, badminton, several bars and restaurants, different beaches with different characteristics, and a swimming pool. All the rooms are beautiful, spacious, very clean, and well equipped with every comfort. If possible, choose Beach Villas from 110 to 118, as they have a large beach in front even during high tide. Alternatively, the Beach Pool Villas in the 4xx and 5xx range are also excellent for the same reason. The other villas are identical, but during high tide the beach in front becomes quite small. I would avoid the bungalows on the southern side. While the sea there is calmer and the atmosphere more peaceful (in February–March the wind usually blows from the north), this area is on the seaplane landing side and there are artificial rocks in front. They are not very noticeable aesthetically, but they do slightly reduce the feeling of being in the “open ocean”. Staff The staff is truly excellent: everyone is extremely friendly and always willing to help. Special thanks to the entertainer, who is really great. He does everything from evening fire shows to morning aqua gym, always energetic but never intrusive, making the atmosphere more lively. The Kids Club is fantastic. The girls are wonderful with children (our kids are 9 and 4, and they begged us to go there every day). A special mention also to Mae, our contact person, who was always kind, responsive and available. She stays in touch via WhatsApp and is ready to help with any request. Restaurants We had the All Inclusive package. The main restaurant (breakfast, lunch, dinner) is good with a nice variety of food. The à-la-carte restaurants (included with All Inclusive) are also good and particularly beautiful in terms of atmosphere and setting. Service everywhere was consistently excellent. Sea & Reef Not the best reef in the Maldives, but still very pleasant. The reef is particularly nice on the north side, and beyond the reef you regularly see small sharks, Napoleon fish and rays. Diving The diving team is very friendly and professional. Diving is quite expensive (around $150–200 per dive, with discounts for multiple dives), but unfortunately this is now the standard in the Maldives. The dive sites in the area are not among the very best in the Maldives, but they are still very enjoyable. Final thoughts Highly recommended, especially considering the excellent value for money.
